  2.  The effects of bromocriptine in female patients.
  3.  The first female patient treated with bromocriptine had hyperprolactinaemia associated with a large pituitary tumour, and the second had post-oral contraceptive amenorrhoea and galactorrhoea with hyperprolactinaemia. In both cases, bromocriptine therapy led to cessation of galactorrhoea and the return of normal menstrual cycling.
